School Tuition and Hospitalization Payments? Just JazzyPay it!

JazzyPay Founders Joshua Marindo and Panchie Perez

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) now have an easier way of paying for their dependents’ school and hospitalization expenses.

It is acknowledged that having loved ones far away from the OFWs create difficulties with their ability to send much-needed funds for their expenses here in the Philippines. The usual route is to send them by way of remitting through banks, payment centers, and even door – to- door delivery. This causes complications such as time zone differences, availability of the recipient and even the effort of standing in long bank lines just to withdraw the needed amount and make the payments to the institutions concerned. Much critical time is thus wasted. This is also more crucial when health matters in hospitals are on the line.

JazzyPay solves all this. JazzyPay is a mobile app that can be downloaded on their smartphones by OFWs that can enable them to pay directly to the schools and hospitals whenever needed.

JazzyPay  is a secure, reliable and convenient payment solution with the needs of the OFWs in mind and can be done anytime and anywhere.

The web-based payment solution was developed by the tech startup JazzyPay and was rolled out last May 2017.

During their pitch in the Young Entrepreneurs Summit last August 2017, JazzyPay had just recently concluded its Agreement with the Manila Adventist College and the Adventist Medical Center Manila and presented their payment app. The app enables the users to pay tuition and hospital expenses from wherever they are located and whenever needed.

Upon downloading from Appstore of Playstore, there are only 3 steps to be made:

1. Register
2. Choose Merchant
3. Proceed to Payment

Payments can be done via Credit Cards, Debit Cards and PayPal.

So pay the JazzyPay way!

JazzyPay is one of eight finalists in the upcoming HealthTech Challenge this coming Oct. 4, 2017 to be held at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in Makati City.
