Zhou Peili is one dedicated Principal. He is the
Principal of the primary school at Nigngbo, Zheijiang Province, China.
He observed that many students who were not doing
good in school had absentee parents at home. It turned out that the parents of
these students were out working and had no time to supervise their children
when it comes to school work.
The school principal then added a parent of one of
the misbehaving students to WeChat. Communications were then established and
the parents of the student were informed of the progress of the student.
By using progress reporting to encourage the
students to work harder in their studies, there was a marked improvement in
their school performance. WeChat increased the connection and interaction
between him and the parents concerned. This was also applied to 800 more
parents to share updated education theories and school events .
