DELL – EMC Tie Up

The Bacolod -Negros Occidental Federation for Information and Communications Technology (BNEFIT)  was formally informed by the EMC Academic Alliance (EAA) of its latest merger with DELL and was assured of improved partnership under the new company.

BNEFIT is a partner of EMC since 2014 for the roll-out of free certification trainings for faculty in various colleges and universities for specialized areas such as cloud infrastructure and information storage management.

BNEFIT through its Executive Director Jocelle Batapa-Sigue expressed delight over the development and expects for increased participation and cooperation from schools in Negros Occidental for future DELL EMC trainings.

EAA told Batapa-Sigue:

"Over the years you have shared in our story of growth and innovation. You have helped our success by connecting us with your best students. We have provided a great place to work with excellent career opportunities. Together, we have watched EMC become one of the best employers in the world. How do you top that? By joining forces with another global leader to create the largest privately-controlled technology company on the planet.

It’s our pleasure to announce that EMC is now part of the Dell family.

EMC Corporation is a global leader in enabling businesses and service providers to transform their operations and deliver IT as a service. Fundamental to this transformation is cloud computing. We will only succeed by continuing to have the best people join us, and we are proud to continue our valued academic partnerships. We are more committed than ever to having an excellent reputation on campus, so please make sure your colleagues are aware of our new name. Our website and candidate materials have been refreshed with our new branding campaign designed to reflect all that we have to offer.
