National Science and Technology Week 2018



The annual National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) will be held this coming July 17 to 21, 2018 at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.

This year’s theme is “Science for the People: Innovation for Collective Prosperity.”

The annual event spearheaded by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) is to put increased awareness in the role of science and technology in national development and progress.

It will also shine a spotlight on the significant strides in science and technology made by the country through the Filipinos’ collective efforts.

This year’s NSTW will focus on the simulation of the ecosystem of how science and technology can be harnessed for national development and by the community.

The NSTW will have the latest DOST inventions, product innovations, and equipment developed by Filipino engineers and scientists. There will also be seminars, lectures and for a by DOST agencies and private sector partners. National Scientists will also be present with the latest innovations in science and technology education.

This year’s NSTW will be participated in by schools and academic institutions, research and development institutes, national government agencies and also the private sector.

Public admission is free.
